We only sell instruments that we use so our clients can be assured of a strong support system grounded in practical experience. By employing one of only +/-60 Trimble certified mapping instructors in the world our sales clients are also offered a professional training option during their purchase process.
Mapco Inc. is also a licensed land surveying company located in Passaic County New Jersey that specializes in using the latest GPS and field data collection technology to provide our clients with a professional GIS data collection, surveying, and mapping solution. We have mapped and attributed the locations of over 200,000 utility features throughout the northeast United States using GPS and conventional survey technologies; over 1000 GPS-derived geodetic control points have also been established throughout the same area in support of GIS base mapping efforts. Our experience covers everything from high accuracy carrier-phase observations for geodetic control networks to code-based GIS data collection projects with database collection requirements.
We currently own and operate Trimble Navigation 5700 & R8 GNSS dual frequency GPS receivers with Trimble’s Geomatics Office and Business Center software, Pathfinder Pro-XH and Geo-XH mapping grade GPS receivers running Terrasync Professional data collection and GIS maintenance software with Pathfinder Office, a Geodimeter 610S robotic survey total station using TDS Survey Pro software, Topcon digital level, and Lasercraft reflectorless laser mapping systems. We also use the latest Autodesk and ESRI software to meet the needs of our clients. Having successfully completed over $1,000,000 in GPS related projects in just the past few years Mapco is very familiar with the logistics and demands of large data collection projects.
